Here's my 10 Dallas Cowboys of all time, in no particular order. My list has nothing to do with talent, but this is just what felt for these guys. Yes, it is thick with kids in the sixties and seventies.

1. Don Meredith
Baby Dandy Don, Jeff & Hazel's Mount Vernon, Texas, was always the life of any bunch. I'm sure I heard him when he was at the microphone for the games, when grouse about how the referee was fussy, so I was just a lot of fun. And who has cared nothing for Monday Night Footbal since Don left? I mean, come on! Of course, never won "The Great Game", but we all forgive him, forgive him even untimely intervention against the Packers in the championship game, because that could happen to anyone.

2. George Andrie
My brother and I to send the Dallas Cowboys for their autographs and sometimes going to where some of the players signed for the purpose of building goodwill for the team. Posted by George Andrie is through email. He sent a photo of himself, all it 6-6 to 6-7, as if he was running the pin, but without the helmet. In any case, the cool thing about how he signed it "Best personal regards, George Andrie. "As a boy of eight or nine years, I have found that a stunning and classy way to sign:" Best personal regards, "in fact, often close to my own letters that way today.

3. Walt Garrison
Walt Garrison Rugged often takes nine or more men to finally bring him down. That was the rodeo in the sample through it, football was probably child's play compared to the rodeo circuit. Remember I used to dive and make announcements for Skoal snuff, I was a man of Copenhagen me and makes me sick when I think of how much money they threw in the trash potentially lethal. I can still hear the way radio announcers at the time: "Giving Garrison …", and then Walt was just about to carry a load of defenders on his back to half the field.

4. Tony Liscio
I've always admired this guy's tough because the team came to the rescue, and out of retirement to replace Ralph Neely, who had broken leg in a motorcycle accident dumb. Tom Landry just call, and Tony was there in two days. My kind of team player.

5. Bob Hayes
Nobody could break a game like Bob Hayes could have but with the speed and could get behind all the defensive. He is one of the players that changed the game, making defensive guys have to respond to Don Meredith vertical attacks him. It was a beautiful thing to see him run in the open field, how they could thrown by the roadside to see a horse galloping in a beautiful country setting.

6. Lance Alworth
What can you say about "Bambi"? Not only gave 100% on every play, but for every moment of every game. Please believe me, just watch it on YouTube during his time in Arkansas. I got to meet him, shake his hand and get autographed pictures when I was about nine years. Who is my favorite soccer player of all time? An acrobat: Lance Alworth.

7. Dan Reeves
Dan Reeves was fun to watch because he was so versatile. You never know when it might throw a pass to running back (like the 50-yard touchdown to Lance Rentzel in Ice Bowl) deployment as the starter and have a fake field goal. You had to keep a close eye on this guy with the slow drawl. Moreover, it was so firm as a copy of what you may want to take the offensive.

8. Chuck Howley
Please remind me again why this guy is not in the Hall of Fame. I remember the classic high-low deals & Lee Roy Jordan could withstand any kind with. It was Super Bowl MVP in a losing effort against the Colts.

9.John Niland
Have you seen the pictures of John and Buck Buchanan, after an exhibition game? Buck had been vehemently cussing John, Based on the John had held for the entire game, only inaugural Up & Down. John Niland, not reverse Buck Mountain, assured him that not hold. "We carried out," said John, that is, the Cowboys as a global team, "but <I> I </ i> do not hold." Buck seems to have taken his word. Great stuff this rare bird Niland.

10. Lee Roy Jordan
The fact that Lee Roy was always there, always, as linebacker half-line support provided. A real tough guy from Alabama. small for a middle linebacker, Lee Roy could really rock a ball carrier. And there was <I> Always, </ I> from 1963-1976, in the center. He was praised for Pro Bowl honors five times!
