Would the Eagles consider signing a free agent RB from the NFC East?
Marion Barber and Derrick Ward: free agents. The Eagles NEED a HB. I wouldn’t mind seeing either of them in Eagles green. I don’t think the Giants will be able to sign Ward after franchising Jacobs.
skins fan,
The Eagles absolutely need a hb. I hate to say it, but Westbrook is old. he’s running out of gas. He’ll never be who he was in 2006 or 2007. he has taken too much of a beating. The eagles need insurance. Not Tony Hunt insurance, not lorenzo booker insurance, but someone who can fill the hole that Wetbrook will leave when he leaves the Eagles.
barber was a free agent. cowboys signed him for seven years sorry.
I don’t think it is a terrible idea. I running back by committee would help Westbrook stay healthy. It worked with Staley and Westbrook. I think the Eagles should really be focusing on snagging a top 5 WR though, that is the number 1 priority right now…

One of the keys to winning a fantasy football league is the ability to project sleepers. "Sleepers" are NFL players who are drafted in rounds much lower than its order to cease the statistics. In commercial terms, this is getting a bargain price for a valuable product. The project estimated position maximum is taken from the Fantasy Sports Fantasy Football Mock Draft is in its home page in http://www.maximumfantasysports.com/. The Mock Draft is made with the generally accepted "standard" league configuration.
2009 Fantasy Football Sleepers
QB: Kyle Orton (Denver) – Denver Orton was carried in retail season for Jay Cutler. It is leaving a Chicago offense that limited their attempts to cross and had few threats they receive. In Denver, coach Josh McDaniels will want to give Orton the chance to prove his controversial trade Cutler was a smart move. With Brandon Marshall (maybe), Eddie Royal, Tony Sheffler and others as their options for receiving, Orton will make the fantastic numbers for the quarterback out of the 16th Board at the last selection procedure of the 11th round.
RB Derrick Ward (Tampa Bay) – Ward jumped out of New York in a situation in Tampa, where the quarterback position field is at stake. This scenario almost always favors the running game. While Ward was second violin in New York to Brandon Jacobs, still put a quiet 1,000 yards (5.6 YPC). There is talk of a platoon situation with Earnest Graham in Tampa, but that is what is driving his draft position down. Ward will be the feature again and receive the majority of carries throughout the year. Picking up a run back in 1A and the RB tandem board 30a in the projection of middle of the 7 First round is a steal.
WR: Josh Morgan (SF) – Morgan is the true definition of a sleeper. Isaac Bruce receives due attention to their surprising results since last year and Michael Crabtree gets the press because of its high-profile college career, the draft position and current validation. Crabtree signed before the season starts, as it is foolish to expect money Top-5 rookie in the draft 10. However, their exclusion, the status of rookie and ankle injury will cost playing time this year and Isaac Bruce will slow the Niners some young people at work on the WR position. This will be Morgan. It is planned to be available early in the round of 12 – a very nice place for a receiver that can start each week.
TE: Ben celek (Phil) – Tight end is a position that is very deep Sleepers and year after year is out. With this in mind, you can let other top executives reflects the draft Tony Gonzalez, Jason Witten and Antonio Gates. Celek lit in late 2008, especially during the playoffs. The Eagles, leaving little time favorite McNabb, LJ Smith, ranging from having their celek replacement. With large amounts of Philadelphia tenuous receivers, McNabb needs someone to make the tough catch and hold the ball without leaving the field on a cart. Celek will fill that role perfectly as a 16th round selection.
D: San Diego Chargers – The Chargers defense surrendered 347 points last year, but are missing Shawne Merriman and Shaun Phillips for most last year. They are back and healthy this year. The Chargers also added Larry English in central defense. The schedule is very favorable (how can not be playing 6 games against AFC West teams?) And the offense will be dominant again, which is useful in helping the defense with extra bags and interceptions. The Chargers defense is projected as the 18th against the Board, to be held in the 16th round.
K: Garrett Hartley (NO) – After the Saints came to their senses and dropped Martin Gramatica and replaced him with Hartley, Hartley was quickly FGS 13-13 and 28-28 in extra points. Although much attention rarely kickers in the fantasy world, any kicker that is accurate, kicking in a dome over half of the year (including a road game in Atlanta) and kicks for a team that puts a load of points on the board is worth drafting in the final round of the draft as its kicker only.
