Who was the better NFL RB…Albert Bentley or Allen Pinkett?
Bentley’s star year was 1990 when he had 556 yards rushing and 71 receptions, and 6 TD’s, which was awesome! Plus, he was on Tecmo Bowl (the non-Dickerson version). Very underrated behind E.D. on the Colts.
Pinkett’s star year was 1991 when he had 720 yards rushing and 10 TD’s. However, the next year he signed with the Saints but was injured and never played again. He had some quick moves. On Tecmo Super Bowl, I’d always replace Lo-White and put in Pinkett b/c he was a better runner, plus he didn’t fumble as much (sooo true!).
Oh man, I still remember the sound the game makes during fumbles. Lorenzo White would fumble at the absolute worst time. He would fumble 6 times a game.
But, playing with the Oilers you spent most of the time heaving up rainbows to Haywood Jeffries and Drew Hill.
I always liked to play with Tampa Bay, and use Reggie Cobb. He was painfully slow, but could blow people off of him left and right. My roommate would cry trying to tackle that guy.
To answer your question, Pinkett was better just for speed.

Today, fundamentalism is a hot topic. Many people are surprised by the level of evil perpetrated by Islamic fundamentalists, the most notable example the events of 9 / 11. Those events are indelibly etched in the American psyche. Recently, news of the fall of Ted Haggard, special attention the Gospel, they have attracted. After years of railing against homosexuality and a host of other sins, Haggard, president of the National Association of Evangelicals, was "caught" committing the same "sins" which criticized both against. More recently, Americans have been shocked by revelations of the events happening in the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints compound in Texas.
All these groups and individuals involved is likely to be seen as a fundamentalist. Is there a common denominator we all share? Recently, I noticed that some fundamentalists, who once claimed with pride the title, are now reluctant to use the label. Some Christian fundamentalists in America are opting for the title of "believe in the Bible, "but their belief system has not changed. Once again the question arises, are there any common denominator (s) among the variety of fundamentalists?
Two come to mind. First, there is the idea of absolute certainty. This is the certainty that is unmistakable. In points of doctrine in which fundamentalist groups affirm the certainty that it is unlikely that they think may be in error or the possibility that these points should always be examined. The second characteristic is the importance of fundamentalist culture that comes their fundamentalism. This culture supports adherents and discourages questions or incubation of the doubt. These two characters have in common.
Of these two common elements, some signs that it could be a fundamentalist come to mind. I thought it might be instructive to build a list of "ten signs can be a fundamentalist. "With all my too obvious fallibility in mind, here is an attempt of that list (note that I speak here of Christian fundamentalism, Despite signs to implement, with some adjustment, all varieties):
1. You tend to see the world in terms of dualities. Everything is black and white, with little in the way of shades of gray. If someone is not just about the essence of their faith, are wrong. Period!
2. Following this idea, the other "evil" not only extends to matters of faith. You begin to think that the other person is at their core a "wrong person". She is flawed in some way.
3. This leads to the notion that there is a basis "them and us." There are two basic groups of people, the subgroup to be identified and the rest of the world.
4. The rest of the world "is under the control of the power of darkness. The world is not only different and wrong in what he believes, but is basically evil. You are part of the righteous. Unlike those who most certainly not.
5. The fundamental character of "the world" is everywhere. It is in the public schools. This is in libraries. It's on TV (Well, it could be something to that one!). It is in government. Bring in people in their street.
6. Their task is out of the world. Find alternative books, music, schools, friends, associates, etc.
7. If you can not escape it completely (Who can?) is the task of starting a mission to make the world match the fundamentalist subculture. You should work for most Christian schools, for example. We must work godlier to government. It is your task to change society in the direction of their religious beliefs.
8. Usually associated with conservative causes. You can not agree with the policies of all conservative politicians, but there are always issues that take on greater importance. In the U.S., these usually amount to an abortion and gay marriage and human rights. The view is myopic and only the button of "hot" issues of matter.
9. Typically, "follow the leader. "There are several well-known fundamentalist Christian leaders in the U.S.. The faithful fundamentalists take their example. It sets the agenda. It's hard for you to do much other than walking in lock step to the beat of his drum.
10. Finally, if anyone asks, these are not his ideas. You should follow because they God set the agenda. To be a fundamentalist is simply another term for being a follower of God. Those in the churches that disagree with the basic principles fundamentalism has been lost. They do not know God. In short, they are not really Christians.
Do all ten of the characteristics apply to all fundamentalists? In reality, people are probably fundamentalist degrees. However, the two elements of certainty and support indoctrinate subculture are universal features. I want to finish an assignment. Review the list and write the inverse of each point. What would that person or company acting on the reverse characteristics appear?
