NFL Football Picks – NFL power rankings 8 weeks
New Orleans Saints officially have the bragging rights associated with being the top of href = "http://www.betrepublic.com/"> betrepublic Classification of the NFL office for three consecutive weeks, more than any other team. After an incredible comeback performance of the Saints, who remain at the top of the charts.
Another team entered Sunday with his credentials intact undefeated I handed his first loss this week. The Lost Vikings to the Steelers, but was reduced to only two points to No. 5. Meanwhile, the Steelers continue to climb and claw their way back to the first check this week at No. 4.
Sorry, Patriots fans in the direction of the departure of Tom Brady and crew accommodation at No. 6 following its obliteration of the lowly Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Old Country.
The Arizona Cardinals will continue climbing the rankings, this time jumping seven points in the top 10 at No. 8. The biggest collapse in the classification leads to the "windy city". The Bears fall nine points and now sit in No.20 After a dismal performance against the Bengals.
For a league that prides itself on parity, there are plenty of good teams and a lot horrible teams. For that reason, there was not much movement in the background as many teams are comfortable in their humble places where they can not escape the smell wafting from their performance in the first half.
New Orleans Saints1. (Last week: 1) Thirty-six 6-0-0 points in a half is pretty impressive. The great NFL teams are never out of games and the Saints proved they can get from any deficit. This victory will definitely be a confidence builder for the Saints. Quick Stats to pull: Saints are scoring 39.7 points per game. They have scored 238 points so far this season, which is the second in history the NFL in six games.
2. (2) 6-0-0 Peyton Manning is playing better than he has in his career. Since Manning has been playing so well, the defensive the Colts have fallen below the radar. D Indy is giving up just 12.8 points per game. This is the second best in the league.
Broncos3 Denver. (4) 6-0-0 Six consecutive wins deserves five days off according to Josh McDaniels. The rookie head coach gave his team the time off and be fresh, rested and ready to face the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
Pittsburgh Steelers 4. (8) 5-2-0 When you reach the farewell, the Steelers finally looking like defending Super Bowl champions. Let's see how it responds the defensive line to the loss of Aaron Smith. The loss of Smith could be as harmful as if Troy Polamalu Steelers lost for the season.
Minnesota Vikings5. (3) 6-1-0 The Vikings found a Steelers team very hot at Heinz Field and the result was a loss. The Vikings turned the ball in the red zone and that killed them. Minnesota should be able to correct their mistakes and move forward. Exciting match next Sunday, when Brett Favre returns to Green Bay.
New England Patriots 6. (6) The head 5-2-0 Patriots in their bye week in perfect time, because they are a little above me. Ty Warren and Randy Moss were the last players on the Patriots injury. This is a good time for the Patriots to heal and prepare for a tough schedule ahead. Miami, @ Indy, Jets, and @ New Orleans is not an easy task.
Cincinnati Bengals7. (9) 5-2-0 After a poor performance last week against the Texans, the Bengals went out shooting. Cincinnati demolished the Bears made a statement to the NFL. If Carson Palmer is still a tendency to be the quarterback who was a couple of seasons, the Bengals will be a tough opponent every week.
Cardinals8 Arizona. (15) 4-2-0 huge victory for the Cardinals in New York on Sunday night. Beanie Wells, introduced himself as a broker of plays and congratulated the offense very well. The Cardinals can build off a big win in New York – their first victory at the Meadowlands since 1999.
9. (5) 5-2-0 The Giants beat them on Sunday and strangely lost the ball four times. The Giants are still one of the best teams in the NFC and certainly fix these mistakes and bounce back with better performances in the future.
Green Bay Packers10. (10) Aaron Rodgers 4-2-0 finally had the luxury of running a game for Sunday against the Browns. The QB of the Packers became another great performance, but was against one of the most putrid teams in the National Football League. Rodgers and the Packers face a real test this Sunday against the Vikings. The last time these two teams played, Rodgers was sacked eight times.
Dallas Cowboys11. (20) Dallas 4-2-0 defense was finally able to pressure the quarterback, and resulted in a victory against a strong team. Dallas was able to reach Matt Ryan four times and force two interceptions. The title of the NFC East division suddenly a reality again for the Cowboys to the Giants suffered their second defeat consecutively.
12. (7) 4-2-0 The Falcons are allowing over 350 yards per game on defense. One of the main reasons is due to the inability of the line defense put pressure on the quarterback. The Falcons need to improve in that area before they take Drew Brees and the Saints on Monday night or are otherwise a long night.
13. (13) 3-3-0 The Ravens are well rested and should be well prepared to give the Broncos their first loss of the season. Let's see if Baltimore will be able to eliminate the stupid penalties. If the Ravens can play smart football, they'll need their cornerbacks struggling to find a way to contain Brandon Marshall and Eddie Royal, if they can do that, Joe Flacco will do the rest.
New York Jets14. (14) 4-3-0 The Raiders were just what the doctor ordered for Mark Sanchez and the New York Jets. Despite the loss of Leon Washington, Jets run game stepped up and threw the ball over 300 yards. Shonna Green filled very well for Washington. The Jets need to rely on their running game to have Mark Sanchez and management games instead of being the main player.
15. (16) 4-2-0 You can not take much of a victory against the Redskins. Washington beat the Eagles dominated most. Philadelphia will now face the Giants and Cowboys in weeks back to back. These two divisional games will tell a lot about what kind of team the Eagles are.
16. (17) 3-3-0 San Diego Super Chargers dismantled a bad Chiefs team. They still have not shown they can make plays on the defensive side of the ball. The Chargers have a tough time winning a wild card in situ with teams like the Ravens, Jets and Bengals every aspect of the strongest teams at this point of the season.
Texans17 Houston. (19) 3-3-0 After consecutive wins, the Texans are starting to look like a team that can have a winning record. Matt Schaub and the Texans offense continues to play well. Schuab now leads the league in receiving yards and touchdown passes.
Miami Dolphins18. (18) 2-4-0 The Dolphins are 2-0 in division AFC East with the easy part of their schedule ahead of them. However, in eastern Chad have to be able to lead the Dolphins to a playoff. Chad Henne is Pennington and showed his lack of experience in the second half against the Saints when the Dolphins needed it most.
San Francisco 49ers19. (12) 3-3-0 Despite its good performance, it is hard to believe, Alex Smith, is the solution in the position of quarterback for the 49ers. Smith has the potential, but has failed to demonstrate that can win games. There is nothing easier for the next week the 49's, when they will be in Indianapolis.
Bears20 Chicago. (11) 3-3-0 Jay Cutler threw three more interceptions Sunday and now has 10 interceptions on the year.
Bills21 Buffalo. (23) 3-4-0 The Bills were able to win their third game of the season, but struggled again on offense.
