If I told you once, I've said it a million times … one of the biggest reasons that people not M1M is because business leaders do not set expectations correctly.
Half of the idea of simplified reproduction is based on the theory that should be shown exactly what you are going to have to do
with In order to get others in your business before they actually join
In other words, expectations are set correctly and there are few surprises in his case, once you join.
As I said many times:
Most companies get promoted until the product / service and the complexity of the compensation plan instead of getting a "brass tax" and shows him what is expected of you to achieve success.
Let's put this in slightly different light:
If I tell you …
"Hey Tim – all you have to do is walk 1 mile and give me $ 100 and you win $ 1-Mil1ion"
Probably I said:
"Devon, you have an agreement!"
But what happens if once he started walking he realized that:
25% of the day was through an area infested with poisonous snakes
25% of the day was burning hot
25% of the day was cold and …
25% of the day was through an area with quicksand
It would be a little harder now, right?
My point is simply this;
If I told you everything in advance, then it probably would not have accepted the challenge.
What things were expected and were actually 2 completely different.
Now I'm not saying that success in achieving M1M is the equivalent of walking through the poisonous snakes, but what I am saying is that because they did not tell you (or better yet SHOW YOU) in front of the actions needed for success, now more likely to become frustrated and quit.
Think about it.
Now that you have started your journey of 1 mile:
You realize that you now have to buy some "snake proof" boots
You realize that you should buy and the package of a fan (because its hot)
You realize you have to buy some warm winter clothing … and
You realize that must figure out how not to sink into quicksand
The problem is that you realize these facts after they have already started walking ..
Let's put this in perspective.
Now that you have joined a Network Marketing Company XYZ
You realize you must find a way to engage effectively
You realize you have to go talk to strangers
You realize that you have to spend money, time and effort in training
You realize that you are loved ones have errors
You realize that you must improve your selling skills
You know you're going to have to be rejected in order to succeed
I could probably reach many more, but I think the idea.
Its not that there's anything wrong with improving your sales skills or learn to deal with rejection … The problem is that doing these things is not what you signed up for
The following statement is for those at the top of the marketing companies Network (feel free to share this with them)
Prevent people start praising and setting expectations properly
You are not helping anyone by not being real they
And for those of you frustrated M1M
Stop getting so emotional about the products and compensation plans and begin to see the exact steps necessary to succeed
Just some food for thought
